The invention relates to a regulating method for removing the condensate formed in a drier section of a paper machine. The drier section of the paper machine used in the method comprises a number of consecutive drier groups, between which a pressure difference prevails. Using the method, the quantity of steam flowing into each group and what is known as the throughflow steam quantity flowing from group to group are regulated. For removing condensate, the pressure difference between the inflow side and the condensation side of the steam is in this connection regulated using the function δ p = f (pa), in which function δ p is the pressure level between the inflow side and the condensation side of the steam and pa is the pressure level of the steam group. <IMAGE> |
