PURPOSE:To obtain an optimum distribution of power in a full-time four-wheel drive vehicle, by providing a plurality of drive power distributing mechanisms having power distributing ratios which are different from each others, and by selectively using these drive power distributing mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:A single pinion type first planetary gear 4 and a double pinion type planetary gear 5 are disposed between a drive power input shaft 1 from a transmission and front and rear wheel side drive shafts 2, 3 through drive power power distributing mechanisms respectively. Rotating drive force from the power input shaft 1 is transmitted to a ring gear 53 in the second planetary gear 4 through the planet carrier 44 of the first planetary gear and at a first rotary member 6. Further, the rear wheel side drive shaft 2 is coupled to a second rotary member 7 through the intermediary of a connecting shell 9, and the front wheel side drive shaft 3 is coupled to one of sun gears 41, 51 through the intermediary of a change-over mechanism 10 and a gear train 11.
