The head consists of a chamber contg. two extrusion screws parallel to each other and with inter-meshing threads. The threads are in two sections with opposed orientation, for movement of thermoplastic material from the ends, where there are feed inlets towards the centre, where there is an outlet with a die, equi-distant from the two ends.
