The tomato harvester consists of a mobile supporting frame (1) with an adjustable inclineo vibrating conveyor (8), a selector (9) mounted above a cutter at the front end of the conveyor. A tomato separator (10) has adjacent to the upper end of the conveyor and conveyors (11,14) remove waste and the tomatoes. - The harvester incorporates a short intake conveyor (16) which is mounted parallel to the vibrating conveyor between its lower end and the selector. The selector has folding tines (25) which can move in one direction. The inclined vibrating conveyor and waste removal conveyor are made in the form of lengthwise endless chains with transverse tubular supports and rollers. The height adjuster for the inclined conveyor is in the form of hydraulic jacks.
