PURPOSE:To contrive miniaturization and a weight reduction of the title typewriter by making a platen mechanism and type bar unnecessary, by a method wherein a sheetlike type board obtained by forming a type group consisting of an elastic material such as plastics unitarily with a case is provided on the lower part of an index character part by turning the same downward and printing is performed on printing paper by a printing hammer by matching a characteristic with the desirous index character of the index character part. CONSTITUTION:As the title typewriter is a device performing printing on printing paper 20 by a method wherein a sheetlike type board obtained by forming a type group composed of an elastic material such as plastics having elasticity or rubber unitarily with a case 1, the sheetlike type board is provided on the lower part of an index character part by turning a type surface 2 of the same downward, the printing paper 20 is arranged on the type surface 2 and printing hammer is used while a characteristics 15 is being matched with a desirous index character of the index character part 4, the title typewriter is miniature, light in weight and thin, which makes a platen mechanism and type bar picking up the necessary type from the board surface unnecessary and printing, moreover, of more than 2,000 characters is made possible. |
