PURPOSE:To realize the proper feeding of fuel by operating fuel injection valves for each group when the inhaled air amount is less than a prescribed value and operating all the fuel injection valves at a samt time when the air amount exceeds the prescribed value, and controlling the injection starting timing according to the inhaled air amount. CONSTITUTION:A multicylinder internal-combustion engine, e.g., a 6-cylinder internal-combustion engine is equipped with the fuel injection valves A-F for the respective cylinders, and said fuel injection valves are divided into two groups A-C and D-F. Further, an inhaled-air amount detecting means G such as air flow meter for detecting the inhaled air amount and a revolution- angle detecting means H for detecting the revolution angle of an engine are provided. When the inhaled air amount is less than a prescribed value, the fuel injection valves A-F are operated alternately for each group by a group injection means I, and when the inhaled air amount exceeds the prescribed value, all the fuel injection valves A-F are operated simultaneously by a simultaneous injection means J. Further, the fuel injection starting timing is controlled to the revolution angle set according to the inhaled air amount by a control means K.
