A stable fuel, which consists of about 50 percent by weight of coal, about 30 to 40 percent by weight of oil and about 10 to 20 percent by weight of water, is obtained from comminuted coal purified by removal of ash and pyrites, water and oil above all by means of repeated sonic treatment and by means of addition of agglomeration media at various points of the process. The fuel obtained in this way can be used analogously to natural fuels.
