PURPOSE:To stabilize bubble detection characteristics over a wide temperature range by providing means for changing the drive phase relative to the in-plane rotating magnetic field of the pulse current to be supplied to magnetic bubble sensing means with element temperature. CONSTITUTION:A gate 5 and a gate driving circuit 6 are arranged between a minor loop 1 and a major line 2. On both ends of the major line 2, there are placed a generator 3, a generator drive circuit 4, a detection eraser 7, a detector phase compensation drive circuit 8 and an eraser drive circuit 9. The phase timing in accord with temperature compensation characteristics is stored in the compensation drive circuit 8 in order to make temperature compensation of the phase of the pulse current supplied to a magnetic bubble sensor and eraser 7 so as to drive the detection eraser 7 with the phase timing related to each temperature. By this, stable detection characteristics may be obtained at all times.
