PURPOSE:To decrease a fall off of a hard particle from a wire tool during its machining and to increase a life of the tool, by strongly securing the hand particle to the tool through an intermediate coating layer of specific metals. CONSTITUTION:A core wire 1 forms on its surface a coating diffusion layer 2 of metal of Cu, Zn, CuZn or being mainly composed of these metals. A hard particle 3 is secured onto said coating layer 2, and a wire tool, increasing binding strength with the core wire 1 of the hard particle 3 to about two times and decreasing its fall off consumption, enables a life to be increased. Further the wire tool, forming said coating layer 2 in an electrically and thermally good conductor, enables machining to be performed with a quick feed of grinding by increasing radiation of grinding heat. |
