<p>PURPOSE:To provide for accurate cassette loading and facilitate discrimination of mis-loading by providing a bar fitting in a guide groove on the cassette bottom surface to a cassette bar of a cassette housing base having a front panel provided with a display part. CONSTITUTION:A video cassette is inserted into the cassette base 25. The cassette housing base 16 is made up of a rack bar 47 slidably holding a guide shifting vertically the cassette base 25 and a front panel 5 capable of housing a display element accompanying electrical signals. A base plate is provided for guiding the housing base 16 shifted horizontally with the rack bar 47. Cassette retainers 74, 75 provided to the base plate are driven by the rack bar 47 to lower the cassette 4. The cassette base 25 is provided with a bar 85 fitting into a bottom guide groove 87 on the cassette 4. In this manner, the cassette can be loaded accurately while discrimination of mis-insertion is facilitated.</p> |
