<p>PURPOSE:To reduce impact at the end of a magnetic tape to make possible accurate intermusic detection by controlling the rotational speed of a reel drive motor on the basis of on/off signals of switch means turned on and off by the centrifugal force accompanying rotation of each reel block. CONSTITUTION:When the number of revolutions of a take-up reel base 2 or a supply reel block 3 are higher than a fixed value, switch means 4 or 5 is turned off by the centrifugal force and an off signal is outputted to a drive motor 49 from an on/off detector 6 to turn off the electrical source of the motor 49 to lower the number of revolutions of the reel base. As the number of revolutions of the reel base is lowered, means 4 or 5 are again turned on to turn on the power source of the motor 49 to increase the number of revolutions. In this manner, the number of revolutions of the reel base never exceed a fixed value so as to inhibit application of large shock to deteriorate the magnetic tape while allowing to accurately execute intermusic detection.</p> |
