PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of maintenance and management of an exchange by storing an extension accessory function data to an external storage device at each time, reading the extension accessory function data from the external storage device when the extension accessory function data is not guaranteed at the occurrence of a fault in an exchange and resetting the exchange so as to guarantee the extension accessory function data. CONSTITUTION:A processor CPU supervises a time of system, and when the time is coincident with time information stored in advance in a storage device M, an extension accessory function data stored in an extension accessory function data storage section D is read and stored in an external storage device FL. The processing is executed automatically and repetitively by the processor CPU at all times. Then if an error takes place in an exchange and the content of the extension accessory function data storage section D is not guaranteed, the processor CPU reads the extension accessory function data stored earlier than that in the external storage device FL and sets the data to the storage D. Thus, the guarantee of the extension accessory function data is attained. |
