PURPOSE:To improve drivability by obtaining the engine output from the fuel injection amount per cycle of each cylinder and the piston speed in the expansion cycle immediately after ignition and controlling a throttle and a fuel injection amount so that the engine output always accords with a set value. CONSTITUTION:When an acceleration pedal 18 is operated in engine operation, the movement is detected by an acceleration sensor 19, and a signal is sent into a central control circuit 23. While, an output calculating circuit 24 calculates the engine output for each cycle of each cylinder according to the signal for controlling the fuel injection amount per cycle of each cylinder which is sent into a driving circuit 25 from the central control circuit 23 and the signal supplied from a crank revolution angle sensor 20, and said engine output is sent into the central control circuit 23. In the central control circuit 23, instructions are transmitted to the driving circuit 25 and an actuator 17 so that a desired output detected by the acceleration sensor 19 always accords with the actual output calculated by the output calculation circuit 24.
