PURPOSE:To attain automatic supervision and recording of fault occurrence by simplifying a video signal from a television camera and transmitting and receiving a facsimile signal. CONSTITUTION:A video image at normal state is coded into a digital signal in advance and simplified and stored. If abnormity such as burglar or a fire takes place afterward, since the video image is changed, the change is detected to activate a signal converter 6 and transmitted to a transmission line 7 as a facsimile signal. A conventional facsimile signal is enough for the receiver 8 and the receiver 8 records the abnormity of an installed part. In using the facsimile receiver, automatic reception is attained and it is not required for supervision at all times.
