<p>PURPOSE:To effectively prevent a rod from increasing its temperature, by provid ing both a cooling chamber of the piston rod along its axial direction in a cylinder chamber and a sealing piston, being brought into slide contact with an internal wall of the cooling chamber and sealing inside the cylinder chamber. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 1 forms in its inside a cylinder chamber 2 to be divided further shuttle movably provides in the cylinder chamber 2 a piston 3 dividing it into two chambers 2a, 2b. While the cylinder 1 provides a piston rod 9, inserted from a through hole 8 into a side of the cylinder chamber 2, for driving the piston 3. Further the cylinder forms between a shaft seal device 10 of the piston rod 9 and the cylinder chamber 2 a cooling chamber 11, for cooling said rod 9 brought into slide contact with the shaft seal device 10 and heated increasing a temperature, to be divided. And a sealing piston 13, having a piston ring brought into slide contact with an internal wall 11a of the cooling chamber 11, is interposed between the piston 3 and said rod 9, thus ensuring air-tightness of the cylinder chamber 2.</p> |
