PURPOSE:To enhance the flexibility and rigidity of a suspension, by providing such an arrangement that the inner end of second arm section of a lower control arm is journalled to a subframe which extends widthwise of a vehicle and which is attached to a vehicle body through the intermediary of a resilient member at the position that is different from the journalled position of the second arm section in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:When rearward force acts on a subframe 10 from a lower control arm 4 in the longitudinal direction during braking, the subframe 10 swings rearward while it deforms a resilient member 11 since the fulcrum of the subframe 10 on a vehicle body 10 is higher than the fulcrum of second arm 6 of the lower control arm 4 on the subframe 10, and therefore, the lower control arm 4 may be displaced rearward to ensure compliance. With this arrangement, it is possible to enhance the flexibility and rigidity of the suspension. |
