In this process a plasticated acrylic glass strip is pressed by means of a highly polished endless steel belt against a form cylinder roller and brought, running in the common direction of rotation, from the plastication temperature to the solidification temperature, thus achieving an accurate reproduction of the engraving of the form cylinder roller on the acrylic glass band continuously passing through.
