A roof water supply which is suitable preferably for the water supply of toilet flushing cisterns, is composed of rainwater-intercepting devices which are integrated in the roof and are configured either as roof gutter 58 with discharge pipe 60 or as roofing tile 12 with discharge hopper 14, of water-collecting tanks and supply pipes to the consumer. The consumers, preferably toilet flushing cisterns, are controlled by in each case two floats, one water inlet being fed by the roof water supply and the other inlet being fed by the drinking water supply. <IMAGE>
