PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of the transmissivity of a sunroof, by applying a transparent electrochromic element composed of an oxidized color layer, an ion donor layer and a reduction color layer which are laminated one upon another between a pair of electrodes, on the windshield pane of the sunroof. CONSTITUTION:An oxidized color layer 6, a reduction color layer 8 and an ion donor layer 7 held between both color layers, 6, 8, are laminated one upon another between a pair of electrodes 5, 9 so that a solid type electrochromic element is formed. Further, this element is bonded to the windshield pane 4 of a sunroof. When the pair of electrodes 5, 9 are energized, the oxidization- reduction reaction is induced in the element so that the transmissivity of the pane is reversibly changed. |
