PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. having excellent resistance to heat, whether and impact, etc. and suitable for use as a building material, etc., by blending a crosslinked acrylic rubber impact modifier with a vinyl chloride resin contg. a vinyl chloride/N-substd. maleimide copolymer. CONSTITUTION:10-100pts.wt. copolymer having an average degree of polymn. of 700-2,000 and composed of 50-95wt% vinyl chloride and 50-5wt% N-substd. maleimide (e.g. t-butylmaleimide or cyclohexylmaleimide) is mixed with 90-0pts. wt. vinyl chloride resin having an average degree of polymn. of 700-2,000 to produce a vinyl chloride resin. 5-20pts.wt. crosslinked acrylic rubber modifier (e.g. styrene-grafted polyacrylate ester) is blended with 100pts.wt. said vinyl chloride resin to obtain the titled vinyl chloride resin compsn. having a softening temp. (JIS-K-6745) of 80 deg.C or above.
