System for regulating the running of endlessly long belts

A system for regulating the running of an endlessly long belt is described. In order to protect such a belt to a very great extent as its running is being regulated and therefore to permit operation over a long period, at least one concave, trough-like or similar and pressable belt regulating roller is assigned to the said belt and has self-aligning bearings on both sides, at its pin ends, the said bearings being vertically adjustable independently of one another via a ball socket-like bearing in each case.
