A switch is actuated by a pin 5 slidably held by a washer 7 in a slot 3 of a cover-plate 2 of the switch housing (1, Fig. 2), and the housing (1) is mounted in a panel aperture 13 by lugs 9 provided on walls 8 depending from the plate 2 and snap-fitting into the aperture, and by a flange 11 on the plate 2 engaging beyond the aperture edges on the other side of the panel 14. Studs 12 on flange 11 fit in recesses 15 in the aperture 13. In a modification (Figs. 6-8) the switch is actuated by a toggle lever pivotally mounted in the coverplate and the lugs engage the opposite side of the panel. |
