A method and a device are used to desulphurize and decontaminate flue gases in a charge of solids in counter-current in a washing area (9) formed at that place by the cooling of raw gases down to a temperature lower than the condensation point, which cooling is due to a heat exchange and a water injection controlled by the temperature. The product is discharged by the moving charge of solids which is washed in the feed screw (13). The desulphuration product is preferably introduced in the form of limestone in the charge of solids. The drying and partial heating of the washed flue gases are obtained in the desulphuration apparatus by the preheated ceramic arranged over the washing zone. |
