[Also in Division F4] An injector comprises an annular conical working nozzle 26 supplied with liquid acetylene from a condenser 3 Fig. 1 (not shown) and which induces acetylene vapour through an inner duct 27. The mixture converges to a point 0 and is expanded in a nozzle 5 from which the gas-liquid mixture passes to a heat exchanger for liquefying methane (see Division F4).
