PURPOSE:To enable specific analysis of actecholamine and metabolite with high sensitivity by connecting in series an electrochemical detecting means, mixing means for alkali reagent and fluorescence detecting means from an upper stream side. CONSTITUTION:An analyzing sample of a feed port 6 is fed into a column 5 and is separated according to components. The sample is then admitted into a detector 1. An electrochemical detector 11 oxidizes and reduces the sample separated to components and outputs the electrical signal corresponding to the components. The oxidized and reduced components are fed through a mixing coil 12 into a fluorescence detector 13. Screening is executed in accordance with the output from the detector 11 in the above-mentioned way and if the alkali reagent in a reactive liquid vessel 3 is injected into the coil 12 by operating the pump 2 at the point of the time when the intended component is detected, the intended component is mixed with the reactive liquid during passage through the coil 12 and induces fluorescent reaction, by which specificity is provided thereto and the component is detected with the detector 13. |
