发明名称 DISPLACEMENT SENSOR USING SUPERELASTIC ALLOY
摘要 PURPOSE:To promote miniaturization and improve the light weight and environmental resistance properties by utilizing a resistance change of a superelastic alloy. CONSTITUTION:The title device is composed of a phi0.1X180mm Ti-Ni alloy wire 1 and a resistance measuring device 2. In this case, a Ti-Ni alloy wire can be almost neglected. By such an arrangement, a displacement sensor having an excellent linearity and almost no hysteresis van be obtained. Further, a superelastic alloy is a material which can return to the state of zero displace ment before getting deformation after being relieved of a deformative stress which creates a displacement some tens times as large as an elastic limit of an usual metallic material and can be used as a displacement sensor by measur ing a resistance change being accompanied by a deformation of this alloy.
