<p>PURPOSE:To enable the continuous discharge of distillate in airtight state, by connecting an end of a tail pipe to the outlet port of a condenser with a definite head, and connecting a rotary pump for discharge to the other end of the tail pipe at a freely adjustable height. CONSTITUTION:The vacuum distillation apparatus is composed of the distillation still 3, the condenser 6 connected to the distillation still 3, and the vacuum pump 7 connected to the condenser 6. An end of the tail pipe 12 is connected to the outlet port 11 of the condenser 6 with a definite head, and the other end of the tail pipe 12 is connected to a rotary pump 14 for discharging the distillate. The height of the rotary pump 14 is made to be adjustable freely. The distillate can be discharged continuously in airtight state by the action of the rotary pump 14, and accordingly, the flow rate and the composition of the distillate can be determined at need. Furthermore, the loss of the distillate can be reduced and the operation and the control of the distillation apparatus can be facilitated.</p> |
