PURPOSE:To enhance the bearing capacity of lateral force and braking moment, by providing such an arrangement that the frame which is rotably coupled to a vehicle body with a space provided by bushings whose longitudinal rigidities are different from each other, is attached to the front end of first arm section of a lower control arm. CONSTITUTION:Upon braking, force acts on a frame 10 rearward from a lower control arm 4. At this time the lower control arm 4 is displaced rearward since the rigidity of a bushing 4 at the outer end side of the frame 10 is smaller than that of a bushing at the inner end side of the frame 10 in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle. Thereby the inner end 6a of a second arm section 6 and the outer end 10b of the frame 10 carried by a first arm 5 are shifted rearward, and therefore, the front end 5a of the first arm 5 is displaced rearward and directed in the toe-in direction. With this arrangement, it is possible to enhance the rigidity of the entire suspension device with respect to lateral force and longitudinal force. |
