PURPOSE:To provide an acrylic two-pack adhesive having excellent bond strength and storage stability, by blending an org. peroxide and a reducing catalyst with a soln. contg. a monomer component and a soln. contg. an elastomer component, respectively. CONSTITUTION:1pt.wt. soln. A consisting of 20-50% (by weight; the same applies hereinbelow) acrylic monomer (a) [e.g. methyl(meth)acrylate], 35-75% partial urethane adduct (b) obtd. by adding a functional monomer contg. an OH group to a urethane prepolymer contg. NCO groups at its terminals obtd. by reacting a polyester polyol and/or a polyether polyol with a polyisocyanate, 3-6% org. peroxide (c) and 0.01-0.3% polymn. inhibitor (d) is blended with 1pt.wt. soln. B consisting of 30-65% component (a), 15-40% component (b), 5-20% butadiene polymer (e.g. polybutadiene homopolymer) and 1-10% reducing catalyst (e.g. V2O5).
