Process for producing fibre-reinforced thermoplastics profiles with the introduction of the fibre material and of the plastic into a die gap, and devolatilisation of the fibre material before its introduction into the die gap, and also a device for producing fibre-reinforced thermoplastics profiles which has a die gap, an extruder opening into said die gap for introducing the plastic into the die gap and means of introducing the fibre material into the die gap, the means for introducing the fibre material into the die gap containing a vacuum zone.
