The invention relates to a telecommunications apparatus having at least one printed-circuit board having plug-connector parts which are arranged on the rear side of the apparatus and interact with corresponding mating plug-connector parts which are preferably mounted in a rack. The plug-connector parts are mounted on a base plate which covers the entire opening of the rear side of the housing. An intermediate layer of permanently elastic, electrically highly conductive material is located between the base plate and the edges of the housing. In the region of the longitudinal edge, facing the base plate, of a printed-circuit board which is arranged thereon, a row of flaps is stamped free from the intermediate layer alternately on both sides of the longitudinal edge of the printed-circuit board, and is bent up against the printed-circuit board.
