The invention relates to a machine making it possible to create sports and industrial floor surfaces by means of precise and rapid use of the various constituent materials. The original design of the machine enables, moreover, a flawless finishing state to be obtained. It consists of a load-bearing structure 1, which may be shaped and which is capable of moving along guiding rails 4 by means of a cable 11 drive system 10, which cables are themselves fixed to the ends of the surface to be treated. This drive system 10 is controlled by a positioning measuring device 12. The possible deformations of the load-bearing structure 1 are compensated for by cables 9, the variable tension of which is adjusted according to the indications from a detector measuring divergence with respect to a defined original position. The load-bearing structure 1 is equipped with a carriage 5 which is held fixed when the machine is advanced but which is capable of undergoing successive translational movements. This carriage 5 is equipped with a chamber 6 provided with a repair roller 7. A second, smoothing compression roller 8 is arranged on the carriage 5 downstream of the chamber with respect to the direction of displacement of the machine. This smoothing compression roller 8 is made to move in rotation in the opposite direction to that of the displacement of the machine. The machine according to the invention is particularly intended for the creation of sports and industrial floor surfaces. <IMAGE>
