REINFORCED PLASTICS MOULDING

A process is proposed for the production of a sanitary article, in which a moulded thermoplastic surface shell is arranged in a hollow mould such that it bears with its visible surface against one mould half. A metal grid is arranged on the rear side, whereupon the mould is closed and filled with a curable material. The metal grid effectively conducts away the heat of reaction occurring during curing from parts of the shell on which overheating causes a deformation of the thermoplastic shell if such a metal grid is not used.
