Arrangement for bath-tubs. When using a bath-tub it would be desirable to be able to prevent solid particles, hair and similar substances from flowing down into the outlet of the bath-tub together with the waste water. This aim has been achieved in that a bath-tub strainer in accordance with figure 2 consisting of plastic, non-rusting metal or a combination of these materials covers the outlet (8) of the bath-tub and seals against the outlet edge (1) at the same time as the bath-tub plug (7) is locked in the open position owing to the fact that the pressure arrangement (11) in cylinder hole (5) exerts a compressive force on line (6) which is greater than the tensile force exerted by the bath-tub plug (7) secured to line (6), as a result of which the said bath-tub plug on the one hand stops in the open position, and on the other hand weighs down the bath-tub strainer so that the sealing ring (10) seals against the outlet edge (1). |
