Continuously running centrifugal (spin) drier including an upwardly flaring conical drum rotating about a vertical axis in a vessel which is divided by means of a partition having a circular cross-section into a chamber for receiving the liquid and a chamber for receiving the dried products and a solid skirt surrounding the upper part of the drum to which it is fixed. In order to prevent liquid which has filtered through the screen of the drum from encountering the stream of air created by the rotation of the drum, an annular collector 30 is arranged, in the chamber 18 for receiving the liquid, around the lower part of the skirt 26 and concentrically with the latter, the said collector including a circular slot open towards the skirt and located in the region of its lower edge so as to collect all the liquid discharged via the orifices 24 of the drum, this collector 30 being placed at a certain distance away from the partition 16 separating the chambers 18, 20 for receiving the liquid and the dried products so as to enable air to circulate freely from the first chamber towards the second. <IMAGE>
