PURPOSE:To remove surely with high efficiency a defective article by discriminating with detection the joining state of the formed assembly body to join with rewind the ring formed from a strip piece on the tearing tab of a container cover and by delivering with shifting non-defective article to the first discharging path and defective article to the second discharging path. CONSTITUTION:The arrival of the detecting unit 118 of the assembly body P is detected by photoelectric tube 140 with making a container cover Q vertically and joined ring R horizontally on a reverse L shaped continuity path and the existance of a ring P and the forming state are detected by the light projection 138 of detecting means 116 and CCD122 for detecting the light quantity. In case of discriminating a defect the conversion is once checked by pressing members 148a, 148b by actuating the hydraulic solenoid valves 152a, 152b of movement checking member 142 after a fixed time by control means 115. A defective product P is delivered from the second discharging path 60 by the release of the pressing member 148b by shifting a shift transfer path 76 to the second discharging path 60 with solenoid valve 114 and link mechanism 77 the while. Non-defective product is always delivered from the first discharging path 58 to perform highly efficient selection. The conversion of the assembly body P can be performed smoothly with the adequate inclination of the whole body of the continuity path. |
