PURPOSE:To bend works into a specified curvature simply and without damage by inserting a material to be worked into a collapse preventer holders and a working body, displacing the working body with the work held by the holders, fitting buckling preventers on the work, and pushing the work out. CONSTITUTION:The hollow material 10 to be worked is inserted into the collapse preventer 4 whose top is near a holding roller 6b and reaches a pusher 5 along the holding roller 6b, an auxiliary holding roller 11, and the working roller 7 installed in a straight line on a table 2. The material 10 is held by the roller 6b and a shifted roller 6a and is bent to have a specified curvature by displacing the working roller 7 horizontally. Plural buckling preventers 12 are fitted on the work 10 which is to be pushed by the pusher 5. After pushing-out, the collapse preventer 4 is moved backward by a cylinder 8 to make the work 10 be a bent pipe with a specified curvature, no fold, and no scratch. Good bent pipes with no damage are formed into pipes with an optional curvature during bending work simply. |
