PURPOSE:To obtain an output amplifier circuit used for multi-application by providing a PNP bipolar transistor (TR) to the outside of a monolithic IC. CONSTITUTION:Since a TR7 constituted at the outside of the monolithic IC1 is the PNP bipolar TR being a discrete component, current amplification factor hFE and fT (a frequency where the hFE is the unity) are sufficiently large and the impedance of the TR7 when viewed from the 2nd output terminal 3' of the IC1 is sufficiently larger than an output impedance of the IC1 viewed from the 2nd terminal 3'. Thus, the signal level generated at the 2nd terminal 3' is not deteriorated and less waveform distortion is caused in the class B push- pull output amplifier circuit. In connecting a resistor in place of the PNP bipolar TR7, the emitter follower class A output amplifier circuit is obtained.
