HANDLING DEVICE FOR RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To suck and hold a recording medium and a separator which are separated from each other by providing a sucking head having two head parts to an inspector for recording medium which processes an unpackaged recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder at the most outer circumference of a sucking head serves as a head part 10a of a separator 4; while the inner circumference of th sucking head serves as a sucking head part 10b of a floppy medium 3. These head parts 10a and 10b have the sucking openings respectively. When an arm which supports the sucking head is moved down to its lowest position, the tip of the sucking head sucks the separator 4 set within a pallet and the medium 3. Then a pin 10f of the part 10a interlocks the upper surface of the arm and is held at a prescribed position. While a pin 10e of the part 10b interlocks the rear end part of the part 10a. Then the medium 3 is held at a position lower than the separator 4 by a prescribed distance.
