PURPOSE:To attain data communication during talking by providing a common call means connecting respectively a talking means and a communication means to a separate line and making a call to both the lines. CONSTITUTION:In transmitting an original during talking, terminals T2 and T4 are connected to connect a communication line L2, a calling section 5 and a polarity detection section 7. Thus, a call is given to a facsimile communication section being an opposite party via the line L2. Since a talking line L1 is kept to be connected to a handset 4 in this case, it is possible to make a call to the communication line L2 during talking. When the opposite facsimile communication section is acquired and the polarity is inverted, a polarity detection section 7 detects it to connect the terminals T2 and T5, then it is possible to make facsimile communication. The talking from the operator is made possible by using the talking line L1 is this case. |
