PURPOSE:To obtain a cylinder attachment base capable of mass production and high in dimensional accuracy by applying the press work to a sheet of a metallic plate to form a cylinder mounting/fixing part for tape recorder, the positioning pins for decision of attachment positions to the tape recorder main body, the attachment parts to the tape recorder main body and a mounting part of base substrate for contact respectively into one body. CONSTITUTION:A base 10 is made of a sheet of metallic plate through the press work. This base 10 contains a cylinder mounting/fixing part 11 for video tape recorder, positioning pins 12a and 12b for decision of attachment positions to the tape recorder main body, attachment parts 13a-13c to the video tape recorder main body. Mounting part 14 of base substrate for contact, attachment holes 15a-15f, projected parts 16a-16c and tapping screw attachment holes 17a-17c. Thus, it is possible to produce a cylinder attachment base which can be mass-produced, and high in dimensional accuracy and strength, light in weight.
