PURPOSE:To attain the trace-back retrieval of picture information from the latest one despite the change of these information, by reversing both registering and displaying orders between new and old pieces of picture information corresponding to the same retrieval information. CONSTITUTION:In a retrieval mode the account numbers coincident with the retrieval information are retrieved in the order of larger address numbers of a retrieval table set on a magnetic disk memory 11. Then these account numbers are written to an optical disk memory 10 in the order of earlier coincidence with the retrieval numbers. The number of coincident pieces between the retrieval information and the account numbers are calculated when all retrieving jobs are over. These calculated numbers are written on a retrieval buffer in the form of the number of registered seal stamps. Then the addresses on the memory 10 stored in the retrieval table and the seal print images corresponding to those addresses are displayed successively on a display device 4. Thus the pictures including the latest one through the old ones are displayed in the adverse order to that of registration. In such a way, the trace-back retrieval of picture information from the latest one is attained. |
