PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for control of the set value of a monitor timer by setting automatically the value of the timer at the proper value from the actual working time of a device. CONSTITUTION:A programmable controller starts the execution of sequence control by a sequence control execution command. An initial step is first set by an initializing process. Then the sequence control is continued by a processing flow within a loop until a sequence control end command is delivered or a time-over fault is produced. Both the automatic and manual set modes are provided for each step of a memory 13. Then the set value of a monitor timer is set automatically by the following equation in the case of the automatic set mode at a time point when a step action is over. The alpha and beta of the memory 13 are set manually and previously and the set value (ts) of the monitor timer is set as ts=(1+alpha).tr+beta, where the (tr), alpha and beta show the actual working time value, the variance correction constant coefficient of the working time and the allowable delay time constant respectively. |
