PURPOSE:A solid powdery cosmetic, obtained by incorporating a specific low- viscosity silicone oil and specific high-viscosity silicone oil in specified amounts with powder, and having improved water resistance, makeup durability, impact resistance and feeling of use such as adhesion feeling to the skin or extensibility and caking resistance. CONSTITUTION:A solid powdery cosmetic, consisting of (a) 60-90wt% powder, (powder usually usable in makeup cosmetic, particularly polyethylene powder), (b) 5-40wt%, preferably 5-25wt% low-viscosity silicone oil expressed by formula I (R is lower alkyl or phenyl; m is the average polymerization degree and 5-250 numerical value) and (c) 5-40wt%, preferably 8-25wt% high-viscosity silicone oil expressed by formula II (n is the average polymerization degree and 300-1,000 numerical value), and having good water resistance and makeup durability, high impact resistance and improved feeling of use such as extensibility or adhesion to the skin with slight caking in use. |
