PURPOSE:To eliminate bad influences of residual tension at the time of stopping and prevent breaking of material at the time of restarting by giving back tension at a fixed rate of maximum tension by reversing of a stretcher motor for a specified time after stopping of a tension leveler and changing from operation tension to rest tension. CONSTITUTION:About one second after stopping of the line of a tension leveler, a stretcher motor is rotated reversely for 0.5sec to give back tension of about 5% of maximum tension to the material and make the material stationary state. Thereby, tension during stopping does not become excessive and does not cause slackness. Thus, it becomes stable and does not give bad influences on the material. The mechanism is free from play such as back-lash etc., and does not give a shock to the material at the time of restarting, and there is no fear of breakage. Thus, operation is made smooth. |
