PURPOSE:To make it possible to reduce heat loss through soils by providing a heat insulating device for interrupting the flow heat escaping from a heat storage layer to peripheral soils. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulating device 5 comprises a heat insulating wall 5a having a depth of several meters and provided at a position apart several meters from the circumference of a solar basin 10, and a heat insulating material 5b provided on the surface of soils between the heat insulating material 5a and the circumference of the solar basin 10. By the provision of the heat insulating device 5, particularly the heat of the heat storage layer 4 does not directly escape from the peripheries of the side surface and the bottom surface of the basin to the ground surface. Although a part of the heat flows to the further remote ground surface by dodging under the heat insulating material 5a, the distance of the heat flow becomes long. Hence, the heat loss is reduced. Arrow marks show the states of the heat escaping from the heat storage layer, it will be understood from these arrows that the heat does not escape at the shortest distance. This shows that the heat loss is small. |
