PURPOSE:To improve the ion conductivity and stability by coupling functional groups physically or chemically onto the surface of inorganic powder then mixing with ion exchange resin particles to form an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:Ion exchange resin particles 30 are placed under the tightest condition while bridging material 20 is placed in the gap. The bridging material 20 will form an organic material 22 on the surface of inorganic powder 21 then couple a functional group 23 to said organic material 22. An anode 11, an electrolyte 13 and a cathode 12 are inserted sequentially between the separators 14, 14 of fuel cell. The electrolyte 13 is a mixture of positive ion exchange resin and bridging material, where the anode 11 and cathode 12 sandwiching the electrolyte 13 are formed while employing a porous carbon board as basic member and platinum black catalyst layer is formed at the contacting face of electrolyte 13. Consequently, the inner resistance is reduced to lower the resistance loss thus to improve the performance while the bridge material will serve as good thickener resulting in solidification of electrolyte and improvement of stability. |
