INSPECTING DEVICE FOR RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To shorten the continuous processing time during which the sheet type recording media are supplied, inspected and collected without storing them into a jacket, by using two arms to shift those recording media continuously through rocking movements. CONSTITUTION:An arm unit 7 of a handling unit 1 contains the 1st and 2nd arms 7a and 7b which support the sucking heads 10 with each 120 deg. space. A shift control mechanism 8 moves up and down the unit 7 and also gives the rocking movements with control to the unit 7 at 120 deg.. The unit 1 picks up the floppy media 3 stored in a feed pallet 2 and sends them to a floppy inspecting unit 5 one by one. At the same time, the unit 1 sends the checked media 3 to a storing pallet 6 from the unit 5. The arm 7a reciprocates between the pallet 2 and the unit 5. While the arm 7b reciprocates between the unit 5 and the pallet 6.
