HOT AIR GENERATION BY CATALYTIC BURNING

摘要

PURPOSE:To be able to generate a large amount of heat with a small device by installing a catalyst layer in such a manner that fuel is supplied from one side of the catalyst layer and diffused into it and gas containing molecular oxygen such as air especially is forced to flow out from the other side of the catalyst layer. CONSTITUTION:It is desirable that a catalyst layer takes the shape of a cylinder with one end closed. Fuel is diffused from an inner side of the catalyst layer and air etc. is forced to flow around its outer circumference by a fan. Though the flow rate of gas containing molecular oxygen such as air is decided on hot air temp. and volume to be obtained, the flow rate is also selected in the most suitable way by catalyst size, supplied fuel volume and application purpose of hot air. A linear velocity passing through the catalyst surface is 0.1-30m/sec and is necessary to be settled between 0.3-20m/sec desirable.
