The card incorporates the name and/or symbol of the issuer, together with various control data, the card holder name, signature, and photograph. The various information is presented on opposite sides of the card, with the photograph of the holder together with name details, identity number and signature on one side, and the remainder on the other. - The card has a magnetic monitoring field which incorporates a code for magnetic reading. The photograph, and possibly identity data, are wholly or partly placed above the magnetic field. Above the monitoring field is arranged a control symbol. The photograph forms part of an identity card which is mounted on the rear side of the card, and is enclosed under a plastic sheet which encompasses the whole card. |
